Laos wasn’t as cheap as I’d hoped for, it was actually a bit of a shock after the north of Thailand. But in the grand scheme of things it is still very inexpensive. Laos is a pretty small country, and prices don’t really differ too much between places so I haven’t divided up spending into different destinations. I’ve added the equivalent in GBP at the time I went (January 2017) which was 10,000 LAK to 1 GBP. However, the exchange rate will no doubt fluctuate so go to xe to find out the current rate.
